About Us

our beliefs

We believe God has eternally existed with no beginning or end. He is one, yet exists in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God created everything in existence and is directly involved with His creation. (Genesis 1-2; Ephesians 1:3-14)

Jesus is fully man and fully God. He came to earth, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and was crucified on a cross to pay the penalty for all of humanity's sin. After three days in the tomb, he rose again and is now in heaven with God the Father. He will come again one day to consummate history and complete God's eternal plan for humanity. (John 1; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:15-23; 1 Peter 2:24)

The Holy Spirit:

The Holy Spirit is completely God. He is the person of God that dwells in each believer. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin. The Holy Spirit seals us in Christ. (John 14:15-30; Acts 2:38; Ephesians 1:13-14)

The Scriptures:

The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God. It was written by humans who were inspired by the Holy Spirit to communicate God's message of salvation for all mankind. The Bible is constituted of 66 books, in two main Testaments-the Old and New, which have been affirmed and recognized as Scripture by multiple church councils throughout the last 2000 years. (Psalm 119; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 3:15-16)

The Church:

The Church is a localized group of Christians living in unity for the Glory of God. The universal church is comprised of all Christians throughout all time throughout the entire world. The Church is the Body of Christ, made up of many members who work together to serve the head, that is Jesus Christ. The Church is to observe two ordinances, baptism and communion. The Church was designed by Jesus to continue to make disciples. (Matthew 16:13-19; Acts 2:42-47; 1 Corinthians 12:12-31; Ephesians 4:1-17)

Salvation is the act of being forgiven of our wrongdoings against God through faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through faith in the work and person of Jesus that we can be restored to God. "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." -Romans 10:9 (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10)

Humanity is made in God's image. Humanity is responsible to maintain and tend to all of creation. (Genesis 2:4-25)

Every human is an eternal creature. Every person will spend eternity in either heaven or hell based upon their decision regarding Jesus. "Then Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." -John 14:6 (John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:11-15)
